Curious Starters

Prep Readiness for Future School Explorers

Starting Prep is an exciting milestone, but it can also bring big emotions for children and families. Curious Starters is a therapeutic school readiness group designed to support children who will be starting Prep in 2027. Facilitated by a qualified teacher and play therapy practitioner, this program focuses on building the emotional and social foundations children need to feel confident, capable, and secure as they begin their school journey.

  • Develop emotional awareness and regulation
  • Build confidence in group environments
  • Practise social skills and friendship-building
  • Strengthen independence and problem-solving
